The Greek Yogurt Power Bowl

The no-stove entry, for mornings when even a fried egg is ambitious. A pint-sized bowl of Greek yogurt carrying ~25 grams of protein, built with the same equation as your dinner bowls: creamy base, crunchy thing, fresh thing, drizzle. Ninety seconds of assembly, no burns possible.

3 minutes · Low cleanup · Protein-forward · serves 1 · ~25g protein; ~30g with hemp seeds or extra-thick yogurt

The steps

  1. 1
  2. 2

Cook Mode walks these one at a time, with timers and a way out when things go sideways.

The idea

Assembly is cooking. Take away the stove, the rice, and the dinner hour, and the bowl equation still feeds you.

Substitutions

  • Greek yogurtskyr (more protein), cottage cheese (savory road: olive oil, pepper, tomatoes), or regular yogurt (thinner, less protein)
  • berriesbanana coins, chopped apple with cinnamon, mango, or thawed frozen anything. Frozen berries thawed overnight in the fridge arrive in their own sauce. Plan-ahead cheat code.
  • nuts or granolatoasted oats, pumpkin seeds, or crushed pretzels. Crunch is a texture requirement, not an ingredient.
  • honeymaple syrup, jam swirl, or nothing if the fruit is ripe

Tomorrow

  • Nothing to leave over — but tomorrow's berries can already be thawing in the fridge tonight.

Assembled bowls don't hold (soggy granola). Components keep for a week — assembly is the only fresh step.

Make ahead

Night-before move: frozen berries into a jar in the fridge. Morning-you inherits fruit in syrup.
